Glen Dean Fitzpatrick was born on June 8, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK to Leo Dale and Minnie Lee (Bussell) Fitzpatrick. He passed away on January 2, 2018 in Norman, OK at the age of 71. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. Glen had his pilot’s license and owned his own plane for many years. He used to fly his sister, Diane, over their home and neighborhood and back quite often. He loved old War movies, and Second Hand Lions was his favorite movie. He loved model airplanes, reading, had an extensive book collection, and an avid gun enthusiast. Glen was fascinated with planes, whether it was movies, books, or magazines. He was an air traffic controller for many years, and a 911 operator. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Minnie Fitzpatrick, and his grandparents.
Survivors Include: his sister, Diane Self and husband David of Tuttle, OK, his nephew, David Dewey of OKC,OK, his nephew, Dennis Dewey and wife Julie of Norman, OK, his grand nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Maxx, Adam and Danny, as well as many other relatives and friends.
